House Fire   January 3, 2004

3 January 04 - The New Hanover Fire Company (37) was dispatched along with the Sassamansville Fire Company (68) and the Upper Frederick Fire Company (87) to Houseman Rd in the northeastern end of New Hanover Township for a structure fire. Multiple local companies work for several hours to extinguish the blaze and overhaul the structure. Due to the remote location of the incident, a tanker shuttle was used to supply water to the incident. Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of all the companies involved, the house was eventually torn down. However, you'll be happy to know that the turtles did make it!
