Brush Fire September 17, 2005

Kent assesses the scene. 17 September 2005 - While en route to another call, Assistant 37 noticed smoke from a brush pile along with side of the road. Upon return from the original call, New Hanover firefighters stopped to investigate. Upon arrival, a brush pile was found to be burning unattended. New Hanover firefighters, with the assistance of Sassamansville's field piece, extinguished the pile and pulled it apart to hit the hot spots.Photos by Jason Wood Return to Past Incidents Page updated 24 March 2006 |
