Chimney Fire December
30, 2005
New Hanover firefighters access the roof using
the main stick on Ladder 37.
30 December 2005 - This evening,
New Hanover (37) firefighters as well as the Sassamansville Fire Company (68) we
dispatched to a possible chimney fire on Rosenberry Rd. Upon arrival
firefighters entered the residence to clear out the fire box while a second crew
used Ladder 37's main to get to the roof to access the chimney. All was found in
good order with no fire. After cleaning up equipment all units returned to
station.
