Field Fire   February 10, 2007

10 February 2007 - The New Hanover and Sassamansville fire companies were dispatched for a field fire on New Hanover Square Rd. The fire, which was started by hot brands from a controlled burn, was in a field and was reported to be working towards a line of heavy brush. Though it got a good head start, firefighters were able to stop the fast moving fire only feet from the line of heavy brush.
