House Fire   September 28, 2005

28 September 2005 - Just before 4:00, the New Hanover Fire Company was dispatched to assist the Gilbertsville Fire & Rescue Company (67) with a structure fire. The fire was in the kitchen area of the involved apartment. The fire was knocked down by first arriving companies, the surrounding units were checked for extension, and the involved areas were overhauled. The unit below the involved apartment had also sustained water damage. Companies on scene included New Hanover (37), Gilbertsville (67), Ringing Hill (59), Sassamansville (68), and Boyertown Friendship (Berks 15). Limerick (54) and Sanatoga (58) were also requested to stand-by and station 37.
