Stand-By   October 1, 2005

01 October 2005 - The New Hanover Fire Company (37) was dispatched to stand-by with Ladder 37 at the Limerick Fire Company (54). Station 54, along with many other area companies, was tied up at an industrial fire in the township. While on stand-by, ladder 37 covered a call for an unknown type fire across from the Lakeside Inn. Upon arrival two mattresses were found to be intentionally set on fire. Firefighters quickly extinguished the small fire and returned to Limerick's station. Approximately 4 hours later, ladder 37 was released and returned home.
