Structure Fire   December 24, 2006

24 December 2006 - A reported structure fire sent New Hanover firefighters into action on Christmas eve. Units went responding and received additional information of food burning in the oven. Units arrived on scene with no obvious fire, however the holiday meal had not quite made it! Thankfully nobody was injured and no property was lost (for the exception of the ham, baked potatoes, and Hershey's kiss pretzels). Firefighters removed the oven's contents, checked for extension, and ventilated the structure.
