Structure Fire   February 7, 2007

7 February 2007 - The New Hanover (37), Sassamansville (68), and Friendship Fire Company of Boyertown (Berks 15) were dispatched to Bromley Dr in New Hanover for a possible chimney fire. Boyertown was requested automatically for their ladder due to ladder 37 being out of service for routine maintenance. Units first on scene cleared the chimney's fire box and checked for any extension. Ladder 15 arrived on location and put it's main stick to the chimney to check the flue. All inspection showed the fire to be out and the homeowners were instructed to have the chimney serviced prior to returning it to use.
