Vehicle Rescue   April 10, 2005

10 April 2005 - The New Hanover Fire Company (37) was dispatched to assist the Upper Frederick Fire Company (87) with a vehicle rescue on Hill Rd. The vehicle was stabilized and the a roof flap procedure was used to remove the single patient who was trapped in the vehicle. In under a half-hour the patient was free of the vehicle and transported by EMS to a waiting Med-Evac helicopter which took the patient to a trauma center.
